The countryside around us in the Occitanie region is incredibly rich in life. We’re lucky to be surrounded by a rich and varied landscape of volcanic hills, wooded valleys, and shimmering lakes. From red hills and vineyards (the perfect destination for wine-loving patents) to thick woodlands and the calm waters of Lac du Salagou, it’s the kind of rural idyll and habitats that makes southern France wildlife so special.
In the nearby wetlands, you might see flamingos or herons standing tall and still. In our kitchens, 80% of our ingredients come from local farmers and producers. Food that’s left over goes straight to the pigs, who never complain about second helpings!
Each of our accommodations is set up to make recycling easy, and we’ve switched to energy-efficient lighting and pool covers that save heat overnight. Intricate details but together they protect the delicate balance of southern France wildlife.
