Absolutely. Our holidays work really well for multi-generation getaways. Grannies, grandpas, mums and dads have time with the little ones, time with the big ones and time to themselves. Everyone can enjoy the wine tasting, local markets and off-site activities.

The Farmhouse is the perfect accommodation if you are bringing Granny and Grandpa as there is a double bedroom and bathroom on the ground level whilst the main family accommodation is upstairs.

The Old Dairy Apartment 1 is on the ground floor and works well too. There are two bedrooms with double beds. Plus a twin bedroom for the kids.

The weather is one of the few things out of our control, but summer days are usually warm and glorious although be prepared for the odd flash storm to clear the air. In Spring you might need warmer clothes for some days and for the mornings and evenings, but the pool is always heated so you will always be able to swim.

Restaurants are mostly casual but there are a few nicer ones where you would not look out of place in special outfit.

if you don’t want to wear more than shorts and jeans that is also fine and don’t forget to bring trainers for your off-site activities/tennis.

We have spent many happy hours there with our two kids, climbing the rocks and swimming the inlets while soaking up the sun-drenched scenery.

Our check in time is 4 pm, but if you arrive before in the afternoon you will be able to roam in the garden and make the best use of the pool. We recognize that it is probably easier for you to come straight to Country Kids and let the kids play here than to look for somewhere to hang about after a long journey.

Before you arrive, we will ask what time you expect to arrive so that we can do our best to have your accommodation ready for you whatever time you arrive. (departing guests permitting).

Also, as we do not offer lunch service on Saturday, we suggest you to have lunch before arriving at Country Kids. In the village of Octon (10 min drive from Country Kids) there are some nice restaurants.

Absolutely, yes. We are in the countryside. You cannot get about without a car. To visit local markets and attend off-site activities, including day trips to the beach and your romantic dinners on babysitting nights, you will need a car. We recommend you hire with any company that is NOT linked to your airline as often that company will be the one with the longest queue. Taxis can be arranged, but they are expensive.

We offer two unique luxury holidays option during the season. A favorite package is the “Absolutely Everything’s Included” family holiday, available during our Summer season from May half-term to end of August. Our A la Carte luxury holidays are available during our Spring season from April to May and the first week of September.

Our facilities include swimming pools, a playground, tennis court, petting farm, and more. We also offer childcare services so that parents can relax and enjoy some time off.

Going on holiday with a 3-year-old can be exciting and fun, but it can also be challenging to pack everything you need. Here are some suggestions for what to take on holiday for a 3-year-old:

Clothing: Be sure to pack plenty of comfortable clothes, including extra outfits in case of spills or accidents. Don’t forget swimsuits, hats, and sunscreen if you’ll be spending time outdoors.

Toys and games: Bring along your child’s favorite toys and games to keep them entertained during travel and downtime at your destination.

Snacks: Pack healthy snacks that your child enjoys to help keep them fueled up and happy during the trip.

Stroller or carrier: If you’ll be doing a lot of walking, consider bringing a stroller or carrier to make it easier for your child (and for you!).

First aid kit: It’s always a good idea to have a basic first aid kit on hand in case of minor injuries or illnesses.

Bedtime items: To help your child sleep better in an unfamiliar environment, bring along their favorite bedtime items like a stuffed animal or blanket.

During our “Absolutely Everything’s Included” package, all meals for adults and children are freshly prepared onsite by our kitchen team, offering delicious French bistro-style cuisine. The package includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, with unlimited access to ready meals, snacks, drinks, and more from our Bar and Shop throughout the day.

The breakfast for the whole family will be set up as a buffet in our bar. You will be able enjoy it at the bar or take a tray back to your apartment from 7:30 am until everyone’s plates are happily full!

Meals for Adults.

• Lunch:
  • From Monday to Thursday, you can order from our lunch menu and enjoy your meal in various settings, such as your apartment, terrace, the bar, by the pool, or as a picnic. Our menu offering a delicious mix of French classics, fresh salads, hearty mains, and light bites, thoughtfully crafted to cater to all tastes, from meat lovers to vegetarians.
  • Communal lunches take place on Sunday (to meet other families) and Friday (to celebrate the end week).
• Dinner:
  • There are two communal dinners on Monday and Wednesday, during which children aged 3+ can join special events at the kids’ club, allowing parents to enjoy the evening.
  • On Sunday and Friday the meals are served individually in your apartment. Tuesday and Thursday are the babysitting evening, so, you will be able to discovers the French cuisine at local restaurants (dinner not included in the package)

Meals for Children

Our kids menu is designed with flexibility and care, featuring fresh ingredients, a variety of options to suit every taste, including raw vegetables available at every meal. We could accommodate for ages, allergies, intolerances, and special diets, including freshly made purées for the little ones.

• Lunch: Served daily at 12:00 pm under the supervision of the kids’ club team.
• Dinner: Served at 5:30 pm in front of the kids’ club under parental supervision.

We have helmets and bikes with one baby seat available for guests use. We have a full carbon road bike available, and guests can bring their own pedals to put on it if they wish to. The pony school and horse-riding instructors have riding helmets for you so you don’t need to use up valuable packing space on these items!
